My first harvest!

My zucchini plant has produced it’s first zucchini, which was VERY EXCITING NEWS for me. It’s my favorite vegetable!

I usually cook it with garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil and call it a day. This time I decided to get all fancy and chopped some onion too.

Then I went all out and threw in some bowtie pasta I’d cooked (Farfalle if you’re fancy!) and a little of the starchy cooking water. I only did that because I’ve seen people do it on the Food Network, so I figured I should too. I don’t really know what that’s supposed to do.

My pasta wasn’t that yellow, I just lost the natural light while I was cooking, and it was too hard to stir the pasta with a lantern tucked under my arm. Not that I tried that or anything.

Anyway, it was delicious!
